COTTON TRADE
RESTORATIVE MEASURES. QUESTIONS OF POLICY. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Nov. 23. The President of the Board of Trade, Mr. William Graham, in the House of Commons stated that the matters discussed at the recent Manchester Conference with representative sections of the cotton trade were the value of the formation of larger units as an aid to the restoration of the spinning section; certain technical matters such as the use of Indian cotton; also the effect of external factors on the prosperity of the cotton industry. The discussions with the representatives of manufacturers will he continued at an early date.
