Four out of the batch of imprisoned Communists have given up their hunger strike. The remainder continuing are now under medical control, and possibly may he forcibly fed. Convicted of maliciously damaging a cottage at Clovelly, Communists received varying terms of imprisonment. Two were sentenced to eight, months three received six months, four were remanded for sentence, and eleien were bound over to appear for sentence if called upon within two years. For some time they have been hungerstriking.
