PRISONERS SENTENCED
NEW PLYMOUTH SESSIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 28. The following prisoners were sentenced at the Supreme Court this morning by the Chief Justice: Ernest Wilfred Taylor, who pleaded guilty to theft as a servant, two years’ probation and pay costs of the pi-osecution. , William Norris AVoller, who pleaded guilty to a charge of carnal knowledge, 12 month’s reformative, with special recoommendation for favourable consideration at- the expiration of six months. , , , Charles Herbert Alahoney, who pleaded guilty to forgery. 12 months reformative detention. Campbell AfcDonald, who pleaded guilty to t-lieft- (three counts), 12 months’ reformative. AVilliam Holmes, who oleaded guilty to forgery (six charges), uttering and theft of moneys, two years hard labour. , , , ...
