RAIN IN HAWKE’S BAY
DRY PERIOD BROKEN. (ll\- Telegraph—Tress Association.) HASTINGS, Nov. 27. Welcome rain fell in Hastings and the district yesterday and continued intermittently throughout to-day. Farmers are delighted as pastures were becoming parched and the outlook for winter feed was not bright. If the average rainfall is to be reached by the end of the year, eight inches of rain must lull between now and then.
