PAWNED CLOCKS
SALESMAN SKINT TO' GAOL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 27. Described as a remittance man by no means fond of work a salesman* Harold Mayner, 27 years of age, was sentenced' in court to-day to a months’ imprisonment to be concurrent on each of two ebax-ges of the theft qf electric clocks he had said he could sell, but which lie had pawned.
