AMERICAN BUTTER DUTY
CONGRESSMAN URGES INCREASE

Copyright.) Received 12.30 p.m., to-day. VANCOUVER, Nov. 26. A message from Sioux Falls, states that Congressman C. A. Christopherson, of the first South Dakota- district, urged that the blitter tariff be increased through the flexible- provisions of the present law. He said that the recent offer of 5000,000 pounds of Australian butter for the New York market, which immediately depressed domestic 'prices, called for an immediate increase in the tariff.
