OLD BOYS’ ASSOCIATION

SOUTH TARANAKI BRANCH,

An interesting report on tlie year’s work of the South Taranaki branch was presented to the annual meeting last night, when Mr G. H. Ryan, president, was in the chair.

The report stated that the annual . ball and smoke concert were a great 3 success and thanks were expressed to ! all wlio had given assistance. During ] the year Mr E. J. Insult resigned from the position of honorary secretary and . after the temorarv appointment of All* ’{ S. R. Taite, Air G. S'. Anderson was I elected. Dr il. <l. B. Sinclair was president and Alessrs J.. Palmer. / G. ■ Sutton and J. Tarrant to fill vacancies on the committee, while Mr Anderson was re-elected honorary secretary. At the conclusion of the meeting the annual ismoke concert was held. Dr Sinclair presiding. Amongst those present were Canon Strong and three of the masters. An apology for absence was received from Air Wl H. Aloyes, headmaster. After the health of the King had been honoured, “The School” was proposed by the chairman and responded to by Alessrs Leggatt, "Wilson and Dobson and Canon Strong. The toast of “The Head” was honoured: with enthusiasm. “Kindred Schools”, was given by Aft* F. Clarke and! responses made by Messrs Gray (Hawera), Page (Wellington College), AI. R„ Jones (Te, Ante) J Oanoii Strong (Nelson), W. Al. Thomas (Otago Rbys’ High), Lawn (Stratford), Wilson (Auckland Bovs’) R Ala lone (St. Patrick’s), and J.
