COMMITTEE’S REPORT PRAISED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.} NELSON, Oct. 30. A large meeting of school committees and teachers of the Nelson education district was addressed by the Hon. H. Atrnore (Minister of Education) las't evening and unanimously passed a resolution congratulating the Parliamentary Education Committee on its comprehensive report and stating it considered that if the majority of tlie findings of the committee are given effect to, the education system of the Dominion should be placed in a more satisfactory position. The meeting paid a warm tribute to the Minister’s work in the cause of education.
