WRECKED SEAPLANE
STILL AT BOTTOM OF HARBOUR, (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Oct. 30. After three hours’ salvage work the Fnirev seaplane, which sank in 40 feet of water yesterday, had not been recovered at 1.30 p.m. to-day. The machine was worth £6OOO. The extent of the damage is unknown, but the diver reports that the machine is stuck in the mud. The propeller is gone and part of the body twisted.
