LAST NIGHT’S MEETING. A VALTIALE PAPER. The meeting of the W.E.A. last night in the Borough Chambers was very interesting, including as it did a valuable paper on “.The History of Medicine,” written by Dr. J. MeGliie. This was followed with keen interest. In addition, there was a reading of one of Barrie’s plays, ‘‘Half-an-hqur,” in which the parts were taken by Mrs C. Freyberg, Mrs Strange, Messrs G. Chuck, Anderson, A. Duggan and W. G. Simpson. All entered fully into the. spirit of the play and gave aj capital interpretation of the characters.
