The. weather took a change for the worse during the night and this morning heavy rain is falling at t-h-o Hermitage. The conference of Associated Chambers of Conunercie sat until after midnight last night in the hope of getting; fba agenda- sufficiently in hand to enable the party to visit the Ball Hut to-day. Business was resumed at 9.30 a.in. to-dav in committee. The conference iis giving- consideration to the question of unemployment.
