EGYPT TO SOUTH AFRICA. TO COMMENCE NEXT YEAR. (United Frees Association—By Eloctrio Telegraph Copyright.) LONDON, Oct. 22. The contract with Imperial Airways for a weekly service from Egypt to South Africa, connecting with the existing Anglo-Egyptian service, provides for an aggregate liability for subsidies for two years of £940,000, of which Britain contributes £27(11)00. The remainder is recoverable from the Governments through whose territory the service passes-. The service will begin early in 1931, and runs from Cairo via Khartoum, Uganda, Nairobi, Tanganyika, Rhodesia, and Johannesburg to Cape Town.
