NATIONALISATION OF BANKING CREDIT. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). Received 12.30 p.m. to-day. CANBERRA, Oct. 24. When the Federal Cabinet meets next Monday it is expected that efforts will be made to impose a tax on tea, while a section of the party will urge the Government to take steps to nationalise banking credit. Two members. Messrs Anstey and Curtain, have toured Australia lately preaching the doctrine of nationalised wealth and claiming that the existing hanking methods are obsolete. =
