The Royal Show had a very successful con elusion, rain holding off except, for ft- couple, of showers in- the forenoon. There was a tremendous crowd nt the grounds in the afternoon, probably a record for .the HVcwke s Bay A. and P. Society. Workino- draughts. —Champion, Andrew Grant (Fairlie), Andy; reserve, rp. OoopoT (Havelock jSiort'li), Bob. Hacks. —Champion, Miss M. Stead (Hastings), Skud; reserve, J. H. ATacNiven (Hustings), Chancellor. Thoroughbredi stallions. —Champion, W. A. Cooper and N. A. Avery (Hastings).’Beer h worth; reserve, G. A. Scot* (Hastings), Hymestra.
