DRUNK IN CHARGE OF ‘CAR

HAMILTON. Sept, 13.

A well-known and highly respected farmer, Tatuanui Norman Day, pleaded, guilty to being found clrunk in charge of a ear at Hamilton last evening.

The police stated, that ,defendant was, going from Auckland; to his h-ome when lie crashed, into two cars before coining to a standstill. Mr W. Scavil.l, J.P., in, imposing a fine of £ls, agreed with counsel that cancellation of accused’s driver’s license would be an undue hardship as he depended on this for the cartage of milk and cream to a faetorv.
