There were no great elianges m tue stock markets at Burnside to-day. Tat siieep- eased jx . little, but. fat cattle toi , Hie most part held their own. The fat sheep entry numbered 2433, comprising mostly good quality sorts, although there was very little outstanding stock forward. There was a good entry of heavy ewes, which met with a keen demand. Alodium and lightweight ewes were aho sought after, but anything unfinished was hard to sell. 1 rime heavy wethers can lie quoted as from par to' Is 1 easier, while medium sorts remained firm. The fall in price foi f ii' lit unfinished sorts was from Is bdl to 2s per head. Prime heavy ewes we-ie 1 dearer by from Is 6d to 2s, and medium and light sorts sold at par. There was only a medium entry of fat cattle —230 in all. A few outstanding bullocks were forward, but the creator part of the entry comprised tail* to verv ordinary quality, home of the stock lacked finish, but realised good prices. As a result of a keen demand. well-mushed sorts attracted spirited! bidding for good qua.ity. A alnes were considerably better than last week.
