HAWERA CLUB CONTESTS,

The Hawera Miniature Rifle Chib’s competitions for Mr. E. J. Booths second trophy and Dr. W. Ft Bwist s first trophy have been finalised, Mr’. A R. Elgar heading the list in the former and Mr. G. Harding hem© the most successful in the latter. In each instance very narrow margins .separated the ton scores. . future COMPETITIONS.

The next two trophies for competition at the Hawera. (range will be as tallows for the President’s trophy (three rounds of 10 shots) and The Secretary’s Trophy (three rounds of 5 shots). These two matches will be fired together. The first round of each will be fired on Thursday (to-morrow), the .second round or September 18 and the third round on September 25. Button shoots will “be* fired! as imial on each Thursday.
