An Edmonton (Alberta,) message; Bays that Major L. T. Burwash, the Canadian explorer, and his pilot, W. B. Gilbert, are now flying back to civilisation after reaching the north-west corner of King William’s Land, in the A,retie, where they located the' sites of the two campsi of the expedition of Sir John Franklin 83 years agoi, in which more than 100 men uerished. The, North, Magnetic Pole was reached and an area mapped by aerial photography. The fliers also; mapped 1000 miles of the Canadian Arctic coastline and surveyed territory hitherto nn,charted.
