COMPETITIONS FESTIVAL

HAWERA ATTRACTIONS CONTINUED PUBLIC INTEREST. DANCING CLASSES OPENED. There were good attendances at yesterday's sessions of the Hawera Competitions Festival, when the judging of • vocal, instrumental and elocutionary sections was continued, and a commencement made with dancing classes. The latter were keenly contested and displayed a wealth of highly capable juvenile talent which evoked wellmerited applause.
