At. the AA’estfiekl fat stock sale today beef was penned in less than average numbers and in consequence values improved decidedly on last week’s sale, heifer and cow beef especially being dearer. Extra choice ox sold l to £2 2s per 1001 - choice and prime, £1 18s to £2 Is; ordinary and plain:, £1 14s to £1 17s; prime young cow and heifer beef. £1 18s to £2; ordinary cow beef, £1 12s to £1 16s.
