MARRIAGE FAILURES
PETITIONS IN DIVORCE DAMAGES AWARDED (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CTIRTSTOHURiCII, Aug. 27. In divorce eases heard in the Supreme Court, Alexander Michael Thomson, a. groom, of Greendale, petitioned for divorce from Mary Thomson, -and named Leslie A. CbHec", as eo-respond-The jury awarded petitioner £6OO damages and it was ordered that of the sum £3OO be placed with the Public Trustee for the benefit, of the children. A decree nisi, to be moved absolute at the expiration of-three months, was made. In the; case of Ivan ‘Henry Ashlov Smith v. Kathleen Smith, naming Dan O’Loughlin as co-respondent, the jury awarded £2OO damages against the corespondent, and a decree nisi was granted.
