The general market is demoralised with a. continued absence of demand and forced sales in certain quarters. Trices are erratic. Nett Zealand finest quoted, fresh arrivals, 130 s; stored, 128 s; Danish, slightly firmer, 136 s f.o.b. Cheese. —White, 745; coloured, 80s; Canadian, 80s to 82s spot, 74s to 75s c.i.f., but- no enquiry. .Retails are unchanged. Messrs Newton . King, Ltd., of Hau era, have received the following front their London principals (Messrs K. and U . Davidson, Ltd., London and Glasgow), giving an indication of prices railing on August 22.
