BIG DUNEDIN WORK,

The Government has made an offer to the eitv to put in hand work costing £10,400 on Wharc Flat Road for the relief of unemployment, conditional on the council paying an annual maintenance up to £2OO a year, and the Taieri County- Council up to £SO. The local bodies have agreed t,o the conditions, With the result that work will be started handy to the e.it.V at, an early date.
