SITTING AT HAWEEA. At the Hawera Magistrate’s Cour, this morning before Mr. J. H. Sal moil, S.M., judgment for plaintiff by default was delivered in the following civil cases: A. F. Anderson v. AY. BREACHES OF REGULATIONS. On the information of the county ranger (Edward P. Grant) ETAioa was convicted and fined £1 and costs £1 2s 6d for riding a bicycle at night without a light on Ohiapaipa Road. Charged with permitting four horses to wander at large at Ohawe, Keehi Rangi Nui Noema pleaded in extinuation that his gates were left open by others. He was convicted and lined £1 and costs £1 18s. Cecil It. Andrews, for driving a motor ear in High Street not equipped wita two headlights and alsp without a tail light, was fined £1 with 10s costs on the first charge and lined 10s with 10s costs on the second, Percival AY. Little was convicted and fined £1 and costs 10s for failing to stop his car on the left edge of Union Street.
