RAWER A CLUB CONTESTS. At the weekly assembly of the Hawera Miniature Rifle Club on Tuesday evening Mrs F Rae, with a score of 48, again won the ladies’ button, while Mr J. Vinten withstood all challenges for the men’s button and held the trophy with a tally of 49, though scoring was close and Mr A. Elgar also registered 49. In the iunior contest Mr A. Thrush retained the button with a score of 46.

MISS GREEN’S TROPHY. With the third and final round yet to be completed Miss T. Ingram has the narrow lead of three-quarters of a point from Mrs Rae in the match for Miss Green’s trophy. Details of scores (including handicaps) in the first two rounds are as follow:
