(SENTENCES AT AUCKLAND (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 5. Prisoners sentenced in the Supremo Court by iMfl Justice Smith were: 'George .McKenna, for demanding money by menaces and for theft and assault, three years’ hard labour; Joseph 'Baxter, aged 55, for indecent assault- on a male, three months’ imprisonment; Rangi IHarawana, for robbery with violence, five years ’ hard labour; William 'Thomas, for a similar offence, four years’ hard labour; Thomas James Gibson, aged 19, for theft of houses, two years’ Borstal; Albert Joseph Vance 'Ryan, for stealing and uttering a cheque, two years ’ imprisonment.
