ALLEGED CONSPIRACY
SIDNEY INSURANCE CASE. .United Press Association--3y Klcctnc Telegraph Copyright.) SYDNEY, Aug. 5. Arthur Gardner, one of the defendants in the alleged insurance conspiracy case, lias been discharged, there being no evidence against him, but the cases against the other defendants are proceeding.
The defendants are charged with conspiring to defraud policy-holders of the Federal Building Assurance Company, Limited, and other insurance organisations. Arthur Gardner is a clerk. The other defendants are: Clarence Hogue, aged 51. years, company secretary; Arthur Roche, 45, manager: Vivian Partridge, 38. director.
