Three passengers were killed aml the pilot- and mechanic were seriously injured to-day when an aeroplane on the Lake Leman service crashed. While the 'plane was dying low the right motor misfired, thus upsetting the balance. The right wing dipped and struck the water and then the 'plane divedi into the lake. Motor boats rushed to- the rescue and picked up the pitot, meelianae and a Belgian woman passenger aged 42 who, though her arm had been torn off, crawled from the cabin and swam until rescued. Later she died in hospital. The other victims, were a married! couple on holiday.
