TTnusual circumstances apparently influenced a prisoner to reverse his plea of not guilty when lie appeared for trial to-day. 'J'lie prisoner, was Wiliinm ’Marshall I* or bos, .agocl 28, eliarged with indecent assailir on a girl of 18 and ■committing an indecent act with intent to insult the girl. When (lie girl entered the witness box she partly collapsed ami was unable to give evidence. Tlie. court adjourned to enable bento recover, and upon its resumption accused’s counsel announced that lie would plead guilty to the second charge.
The Crown prosecutor agreed and licensed was remanded tor sentence.
