500-MILE RELAY RACE
ENGLISHMEN WIN EVENT. .United Press Association. —By Electric TelegrapD Copyright.) Ottawa, July 27. A Montreal message states that Arthur Newton (South Africa) and Peter Guvuzzi (Southampton, England) won the international relay of 500 miles, the last lap of which was run to-day. The total time' was 4S hours 4 minutes. The American team (Ray and Salo) was second, its time being 50 hours 24 minutes.
