The Anglo-Dutdh rubber growers committee is asking the English and Dutch Governments immediately to negotiate with a view to arranging a restriction on production and the combined introduction of a minimum price., probably 9d a pound, compared with 5M at'present, says the “Financial News.” British growers regard 9d a pound as the lowest market price at which the industry can continue to produce.^. ma tec j production in 1931 will be about 950,000 tons and the consumption probably 750,000.
