LONDON, July 28. The Anglo-Dutdh rubber growers committee is asking the English and Dutch Governments immediately to negotiate with a view to arranging a restriction on production and the combined introduction of a minimum price., probably 9d a pound, compared with 5M at'present, says the “Financial News.” British growers regard 9d a pound as the lowest market price at which the industry can continue to produce.^. ma tec j production in 1931 will be about 950,000 tons and the consumption probably 750,000. Hutch growers already have proposed that production should be cut down to 75 per cent of last year’s, with power to release stocks, if prices exceed 9d for three months.'
