CANBERRA, July 27
To-day being the birthday of Flying Officer F. 0. Ewen, of the Royal Australian Air Force, who was killed the day the Federal Parliament was inaugurated at Canberra toy the Duke of V.'ork, a laurel wreath received from his mother, a resident of Auckland, was placed on the grave by Mr A. G. Green, Minister of Defence, m the presence of a church congregation. Mr Green paid a Iribut.o to the brave flying officer.
