MUNGANA LEASES
COMMISSION OF INQUIRY. THEODORE TOO BUSY. (United I’ress Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright). BRISBANE, June 18. Mr E. G. Theoore (Federal Treasurer) has communicated with the Royal Commission inquiring into, the sale of the Mungana leases to the Queensland Government, stating that he would be unable to give evidence for some time owing to being occupied with the Federal Budget. Mr H. J. Henchman (Grown Solicitor, of Brisbane) has replied: “Your reply is too indefinite. T' he Royal Commissioner desires to inform you. it will keep the inquiry open till June 24, and would like to know whether you intend to avail yourself of the opportunity to give evidence.
