TOURNAMENT PLAY. The weather, although cold add wincly, was this to-day for the resumption of the, play in the Hawera ladihs’ golf tournament at the Fairfield links. The conditions were not favourable to low scores, but. the rounds generally were, good and the contests, interesting. There are two .competitions, championship and handicap, and; this ittotrning’s matches, ran the players into the finals in both. The results were as follow: CHAMPIONSHIP. First, Round. M iss E.
