GRAF ZEPPELIN’S FLIGHT CAPE VERDE GROUP PASSED FICKLE TRADE WINDS. 'United Press Association— By Electric Telegrapu Copyright J Received 11.15 a.in. to-day. NEW YORK, May 21. A message from St. Vincent states that the Graf Zeppelin passed over the Cape Verde group at 11.30 o’clock this morning, New York time. The .ship Iliad covered approximately half of the distance from Seville to Pernambuco, leaving less than 2000 miles to go. A radiogram sent by Dr. Eckener at 7 o’clock this morning, New York time, reported that the ti*ade winds, upon which the dirigible was depending for aid, seemed “to be suffering from old ago.” The airship was then approaching the Cape Verde Islands.
