GAOL FOR SLY-GROG SELLER
PRISONER. THANKS MAGISTRATE. (By Telegraph--Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 15. , Following a police raid on sly-grog sellers, three Dalmations appeared before Mr. F. Iv. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Cctir.t to-day charged with selling liquor without license. One was. sent to gaol for two months, tlie second was .fined £SO, and the third was ordered to come up for sentence within 12 months,. The. man who was sent to goal had been fined £3O in 1928 and £SO last year. He thanked the magistrate on hearing his sentence.
