NEW SAMOAN FORCE
APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS. (By Telegraph—Special to “The Star.”) WELLINGTON, Feb. 14. The General Officer Commanding the New Zealand Forces states that the following officers are being posted to accompany the Samoan force recruited in New Zealand :—Major Weir (Wellington), Cnpt. Dittmer (Paeroa), Oa.pt. Wakes (Auckland), Captain Greveille (Auckland 1 ) and Caipt. Bonord (Gisborne). They are to lie accompanied by 10 n.e.o’s, and with recruits from the chief centres, are reporting at Trentham to-day.
