Choppers realised £2 5s to £3 16s, heavy and medium baconers and heavy porkers £3 16s to £4 4s. medium porkers and light porkers £3 to £3 14s, small and unfinished porkers £2 6s to £2 18s. An average yarding of store pigs met with keen competition, and values were firm at late quotations. Large stores sold from £2 to £2 6s, slips £1 lCus to £1 18s, weaners 10s to £1 2s.
Calves were penned in average numbers and values were easier on last week’s quotations. Runners realised £5 to £6 17s 6d. heavy venters £5 to £5 7s, extra heavy venlens to £6, medium £4 to £4 18s, light £3 to £3 16s, smaller £2 to £2 18s, small and fresh dropped £1 7s to £1 18s.‘ rough calves 16s to £1 12s.
