COUNTRY STORE DESTROYED
EARLY MORNING FIRE. (By Telegraph—Press Association;) PALMERSTON N„ Jan. 7. A fire at Bunnythorpe at 3.30 o’clock this morning destroyed the main building of the Bunnythorpe Stores, Ltd. ‘Nothing was saved. A bucket brigade was formed hastily and saved a bulk store close by, but goods inside were affected by the water. Particulars of insurances, losses, etc., are not yet available.
