DOMINION GOVERNOR GENERAL
AUCKLAND’S FAREWELL,
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 5. Farewell was taken of the GovernorGeneral and Lady Alice Fergusson at a large gathering of citizens in the Town Hall last night. The Mayor, Mr. G. Bail don, presented to his Excellency an address from the city expressing esteem and affection for their Excellencies. The Hon. J. B. Donald and the Hon. A. J. Stallworthv were on the platform. In replying the Governor-General referred to the happy days spent in New Zealand. Their Excellencies received an enthusiastic reception.
