BUTTER SHIPMENT DAMAGED
1100 OASES AFFECTED. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 2 p.m. to-dav. LONDON. Jan. 2. Eleven hundred cases of butter were damaged through the stoppage of the refrigerating machinery on the steamer Ca-nadian Britisher from Adelaide. Their immediate sale is recommended. A thousand carcases of mutton were jettisoned.
