TURUTURU-MOKAI MEMORIAL
UNVEILING NEXT WEDNESDAY!. A memorial to the defenders of the Turutuzu-Mokai redoubt will be unveiled in the reserve next Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock, the ceremony being performed by G. J. Beamish, the only member of the original defending party now living. A free ’bus service will run between town anil the reserve during the afternoon for the convenience of those wishing to attend the ceremony.
