TJEOPOSAL to raise a Special Loan X under "The Local Bodies Loans ■\pt “The Local Cfovernment Loans Board Act, 1926,“ -‘The Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, and T . Local Legislation Act, 1926, Section 45, of £187,500 .for twenty-six years at 51 per cent, plus sinking fund £- per cent per annum, for the purpose o± the supply and distribution of electric energy for the benefit of the South Taranaki Electric-power District and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things, as the Board is empowered to do by “_The Electricpower Boards Act, 1925,“ and its amendments, and by ' ‘ The Local Legislation Act. 1926,“ Section 45 AND IN PARTICULAR, but without, limiting in any way any of the aforesaid powers, to purchase the assets' an cl undertaking of The Haw era County Electric Company Limited, and to provide, erect and construct a system of electric distribution and reticulation in such parts ot the South Taranaki Electric-power District as are not at present reticulated, and to improve, add to. and extend the •present, system of electric distribution and reticulation and to make provision for financial assistance to consumers and for trading purposes as provided by the said Electric-power Boards Act. IN PURSUANCE of Section 11 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,“ and Section 51 of “The Electric-power Boards Act, 1925“ — I hereby give Public Notice that a POLL of the Ratepayers of the South Taranaki Electric-power District WILL BE TAKEN on THURSDAY, the fifth (sth) day of September. 1929, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 pan. at the following polling places:— (a.) The following arc specially appointed as Polling Places' at which may be recorded the votes of ratepayers irrespective of the location of the rateable property in respect of which they nro entitled to vote — 1. Hawera. Borough Chambers, High Street, Hawera. 2. Hawera County Office, Princes Street, Hawera. n. Waimate West County Office, Manaia. 4. River dale Dairy Factory Buildings, Inaha. 5.
