CYCLING.
KAPONGA CLUB
The Kaponga cycle club, which has been idle since the beginning of the football season, is commencing with a road race to-morrow, the course being once round the Palmer Road block, a distance of 11 miles.
This race will start at 2 p.m., and is the first of a series of nine races. Three cups have been donated by the club for points prizes. Points' will count 4,3, 2, and 1 for every finisher.
Mr. A. Melville has declared the following handicaps: E. Stockman, L. S. Gargan, scr.; G. W. Codings, E. Watson, D. Colman, 45sec\; 0. Belk, Ken Melrrtyns, 60sec.: K. Stockman, G. Williams, R. Hosie, 90sec. ; N. Adlam, J. Hosie, 120 see.
