J. C. Smith advertises in the auction columns particulars of sale of poultry, harness., fruit, etc., to be held tomorrow. A further sale of drapery will Ho conducted to-morrow (Saturday) by R. B. Morrissey and Co. at 12.30 p.m., on account of Mi: J. Franklin, Auckland. Attention is also directed to the special evening sale at 7 o’clock, which will afford an opportunity for those unable to be present at the day sake. In the stock auction advertising columns of this .issue, full details are displayed of the clearing sale to be held on Monday next, September 2, by Messrs Newton King. Limited l , on behalf of Messrs J. H. Bleakky and Son, at IJrenui. The offering consists of 110 head of stock, including 70 dairy cows, the majority of which are Jersey and Jersev cross, together with q fuil range of implements, etc. This fixture can be recommended to daily farmers who have not vet fid filled their requirements. Ca rs will leave all branches of the auctioneer® on the morning of the sale, and those interested nr© requested to book seats early.
