Extra choice ox sold to £2 4s per 1001 b, choice and prime £2 Is to £2 3s, ordinary and plain £1 JSs to £2, prime young cow and heifer beef £2 to £2 2s. ordinary cow beef £1 His to £1 10s. Prices were: Heavy prime steers £l6 to £l7 17.3 6d, lighter prime £l4- 10's to £.15 17s 6cl, light prime £l2 15s to £l4 7s 6d,. unfinished and small £lo* to £l2 6d, extra heavy prime young copvs and heifers £ls to £l7 7s 6d, heavy prime £l3 to £l4 17s Gel, lighter £lO toi £l2 15s, lighter cows £8 10s t'O £9 17s! Od, other cows £6 to £S. :Sheep were yarded in average numbers and sold readily at late quotations. Extra heavy prime’wethers sold to £2 4s 3d, heavy prime £1 19s to £2 3s 9d, medium prime £1 17s to £1 18s 9d, light prime £1 15s to £1 16s fid, small and unfinished £1 12s 6d to £1 'l4s 9d, prime ewes £1 8s to £1 16s 6d, prime hoggets £1 7s to £1 15s 6d. unfinished £1 2s 9d to £1 6s 9d. Spring lambs again sold readily, selling at £1 16s to £2 2s. Pigs were penned in average numbers. Competition was not so keen and values were easier on last week’s quot■atons. Choppers sold at £2 10s to £4 2s, heavy and medium baeoners £4 10s to £4 19s, light baeoners and heavy porkers £3 14s to £4 Bs, medium porkers and light porkers £3 to £3 12s, small and unfinished porkers £2 Ss to £2 18s.
