HOLIDAY FOR WORKERS.
BRITISH GOVERNMENT’S DECISION. (United Cress Association —By Jupot-ra' Teleerai lo Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) Received 1.10 p.m. to-day. LONDON, Aug. 27. The “Daily Herald” announced that the .Government has decided to grant six days’ holiday on full pay annually to all State industrial workers who have completed one year’s service. Nearly one hundred thousand workers in the Army Navy, Air Force, and postal office of the Works Department will benefit.
