AUROA.
(Prom Our Own Correspondent.) BOWLING CLUB. The annual meeting of the Auroa Bowling Club was held in the pavilion on Saturday evening. The president, Mr. Bradford, presided over a full muster of the club. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted, a credit balance of nearly £2O being shown. The president, while congratulating members on the good financial position, and also for again wanning the shield, deplored the fact of losing two of its most prominent members, but stated that Mr. H. Buxton had again joined up, which would allow the club to again put two rinks into the competitions. . The election of officers resulted in Mr W. J Bradford being re-elected to the position of president, Mr V. Duff and Mr. S. Davies vice-presidents and Mr. A. C. Johnstone secretary. It was decided to open the green as early in October as possible. _ After the usual routine business the mooting closed 'with thanks to the chair. PERSONAL. Mrs. Geo. Kirk is an inmate of Kapongn.
