In the women’s fifty miles air race, Mrs Miller was named winner when Mrs Omlie was disqualified, as was Miss Earhart. Second place went to Lady Heath and third to Mrs Blance Noyes, of Queensland. Mrs Miller’s time was 30 minutes 23 seconds, and Lady Heath's. 51 minutes 51 seconds.
