CONTRACT FOR NEW Bt'II.MXCS

The council, of Massey College lias let the contract for 496,700 for the erection of the new main block of the college buildings on the McHardy homestead site at Palmerston North. The original buildings on the block have hitherto been utilised, but they will now be removed and a structure, 165 feet by 140 feet, partly of three and partly of two stories and a basement, will take their place. The buildings on the Batchelor block will remain for the present.
